He is the most successful Spanish sailor in offshore sailing. Winner of the Volvo Ocean Race with the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team (2014-2015) acting as one of the watch leaders. He has participated in a total of seven round the world races. Olympian in the Star class at the 2004 Athens Olympics and has been part of two Spanish challenges to the America's Cup.
